On 7/20/2019, Attorney Laura Meier of The Meier Law Firm gave us a talk on “Living Trust and Special Needs Trust”.  Ms. Meier discussed in detail: how to name a guardian for a child with disabilities; how to avoid a long and expensive court process known as probate; how to pass money to a child with a disability in a way that would not disqualify him from receiving government benefits; what a special needs trust is and whether it’s necessary; what a conservatorship is and what are the alternatives; how to ensure your vision for your child’s future is honored; and how to leave behind far more than just money.  After the presentation, she consulted several families individually on trust issues.  Ms. Meier can be reached at: 這個 E-mail 地址已經被防止灌水惡意程式保護,您需要啟用 Java Script 才能觀看 .
