CPAD-OC (Chinese Parent Association for the Disabled – Orange County Chapter), formerly a division of CPAD, has established its own independent non-profit organization: AFADS (Asian Family Association for Disability Support).

Effective July 1, 2025, AFADS will operate as a separate entity dedicated to supporting families with disabilities.
