Celebrating the Lunar New Year with Joy - Chinese Parents Association for the Disabled

On March 7th, our CPAD special needs community came together for a joyful and heartwarming Chinese New Year celebration. Families, children, and friends gathered to welcome the Year of the Horse with laughter, performances, and wonderful moments shared together.

The event was filled with excitement and energy. Our talented participants brought the stage to life with dancing and singing, while others joined in fun games and raffle drawings that kept everyone smiling throughout the afternoon. Delicious food was shared among families, and the room was filled with happy conversations and laughter.

This meaningful celebration was co-hosted by Tzu-Chi and the Hacienda East Valley Lions Club, whose support helped make the event even more special for our community.

We were also honored by the presence of Congresswoman Judy Chu and Assemblymember Michael Fong, who joined the celebration and presented certificates recognizing the organizations’ dedication and service to the community. Their encouragement and recognition meant a great deal to all of us.

Most importantly, the gathering reminded us how strong and supportive our community is. Families came together not only to celebrate the Lunar New Year but also to uplift and encourage one another.

As we welcome the Year of the Horse, we wish that its spirit of strength, perseverance, and energy will bring blessings to our families and continued growth for our children.
